Champions League Squad - Jovetic Out (Updated Page 36)

Disappointing news with Jovetic but it's probably down to the fact of there were no real guarantees whether he could of stayed fit. If there is an injury to Nasri, Silva or any of our strikers then it's down to our EDS lads to step up.

Re: Jovetic dropped from Champions League Squad.

Hope he keeps positive for the League campaign still and if anything wants top show good form in the league to prove a point.

Surprised any of the strikers were dropped, thought it would have been either Sagna or Kolarov as Mangala and even Zabaleta can play left back as backup to Clichy and Milner can play right back as backup to Zabaleta.

Noticed today also that Dzekos' agent says if he left City he would want to play for either Juventus or Athletico Madrid.

In the middle of a season and at a key time for City, surely the agent should just tell the player to keep his concentration on playing for City and helping us win games.

Down to the fact he's done next to f*ck all since he got here. Can't understand why people are surpised.

YES!!!!

OH MY DAYS!!!!!!

YES!!!!

FUCKING YES!

:D

I can now see this new squad beating FC Barcelona, COME ON!!!!!!

perhaps milner should have been left out , no doubt he is having a great season, but he wont commit to a new contract , he should have been given an ultmatum , sign your contract or you dont play champs league and if you dont like it f*ck off to the dippers and settle for mediocrity and no more medals. Gutted for Jovetic , compared to kolarov or caballero he is having a good season , picking caballero stinks of favouritism from MP

Yes, I noticed those comments from Dzeko's agent.....I agree, it does seem strange for his agent to come out and say those things now....Not surprised Dzeko was kept in the CL squad over Jovetic.....Pelle seems to have a lot of faith in him, even tho he's had a very poor season....personally feel we looked a better side when Jovetic came on against Roma and he even set up the goal with Zab........Just hope Dzeko proves his supporters right and bags a few in next CL game.....

Big mistake.

As many have said we have an abundance of defensive options.

Should have been Sagna. Clichy and Milner can both play RB if Zabba is injured, suspended.

For me Jovetic was cover for Nasri and Silva.

Didn't they have to drop a foreign player?
