Championship Thread - 2023/24

And would you class that as a derby? I'm not having a go, by the way. I get what you're saying. To be fair to me, though, I did acknowledge the clash of the carrot crunchers as a "rivalry".
I wouldn't class Lancs V York's as a derby. As you say, the agricultural aspect of that part of the world probably stokes the rivalry.

1-1.

Weird, the hots that Sutton has for Norwich. Sorry; "Naarwidge". They're one of seven clubs he played for, and he was there for 3 years. He's not even from the area; he's from Goldbridge country.

Norwich turned things around; 2-1 up now. If they had VAR in the championship, it may well have been chalked off, though. Barnes clearly blocking the keeper's view of Rowe's shot.

To me a derby is 2 teams from the same city, anything else is a rivarly.

ps we bloody won again :)
Didn't I tell you last weekend....

Okay; the Norwich game wasn't great. But you're not dead and buried. Looked at your next fixtures...

Cardiff (H) next weekend
Coventry (A) on Boxing day. @Mad Eyed Screamer will be an Owls fan that day!
Preston (A) the following Friday. If you could somehow scrape 4 pts from those games, you'd at least enter 2024 with a bit of hope. Keep believing fella!

Hopefully this is the start of a big winning streak for the Owls......... watched the game v Leicester and tbh they played really well.A few wins over the next 7 games could change it all around
i wasnt that far off was i :) beat Cardiff next week and teams above you will start panicking
