There's 3 players playing him onside. You cant be offside after a touch from a defender when you are onside from the previous touch from an attacker.Believe me, I wanted the goal to be given. But for it to be given, the touch has to be seen as an intentional attempt to play the ball, rather than simply a ricochet off the player. Which is what the ref judged it to be. Looking at the replays, though, I'm not so sure.

Seeing as he's one of those horrible, smelly French types, it could be that "Roo-tair" is the way he'd pronounce his name.The commentators are calling the number 24 for Leeds, who incidentally has given the ball away numerous times, RuttAARIRE, instead of Rutter as in nutter? Anybody any idea why?
