Which is the most important...for me it is the prem league...id rather win this than the champs league every year....but im thinking that maybe this year our sole aim is to advance in th champs league and we are just aiming to finish in a champs league qualifcation spot.........

IS the champs league that vital to our finances? that we sacrifice the prem for it???????

Id settle for Chumps trophy and 2nd in the league to be honest and win the prem the year next.

I was having a similar 'black swan' thought after watching the Stoke game, wondering if it might just be our year to fluke a few results in Europe whilst we play comatose in the league - strange co-incidence, eh?

We badly miss Kompany to do the 'business', and I'm sure we would have gotten a result at Cardiff if he'd been playing.

Abu Dhabi has made it clear by their actions that the Champions League is their main priority. Personally, I prefer winning the Premier League title soon, if not, City will get the stigma of "one hit wonders", which I've already heard in some circles.

For me champions league progression is vital. We have been a failure so far in the champions league and for the money we have put in to the team we really should be challenging the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, juventus etc.

To me the Premier League towers above the Euro knockout Champions League.

Unless City win the league again the 2012 league win will be seen as a flash in the pan backed by big cash like Blackburn's 1995 win.

The league has to be won at least twice within a few years to establish a solid reputation as a good team worth remembering.

As a fan, PL all day long but as a club, we crave the CL success and i see the reasons why.

We have zero chance of winning the Champions League, so forget that.

We'll struggle to win the league with our pathetic away form but here's hoping

Dont think Bayern Munich will be losing any sleep over playing us soon, we have no chance in either at the moment.

Barcelona B in the Spanish second division would be licking their chops to get a piece of City.

Arsenal and Chelsea both won the league more than once over a short period during the domination of you know who.

We need to win the league again and soon.

Champions league success is unlikely and very, very secondary.

We have gone one year without winning the league.
Progress in the champions league is vital.
We won't win either this year as we are in transition.
Chill.

Premier league must come first at the moment in my opinion. We should also see some progression in the champions league over the next couple of seasons then hopefully be able to combine performances in both.

Zero chance? The team that finished 19 points ahead of Chelsea when they won it has "zero chance", would you care to tell us why? I'll admit it's unlikely, but it's hardly "zero chance".

I agree 100% with your assessment of our away form though.

Prem all day long, every season... Champs lge is just a bonus to play for !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha Planet Simon...

It wasnt a either or question in that sense,,,,,,,,it was more of a question in terms of general priority for the club..........for me the pririty EVERY season should be the prem league but it seems this year maybe that isnt the case and progression in the champs league is what is called for at the expense of the league........just like chelsea when they won it

You are kidding ? The way we currently are neither will be of any concern to us.
