Thar will NEVER happen. if they couldnt give him the last to games, that tells us all we need to know really.

we should however applaud under the 61 minute. everyone in england will start to figure out why and it will give us great attention and i think will be awesome.

They sacked him before the last two games so he didn't have to manage us as a dead man walking I think. Could have been pretty painful for him if he had to do press conferences and get hounded for another week.

I have to agree that the club won't do that - picture on screen etc...
But I think that a majority of fans would want to show some appreciation of the trophies we won during his reign.
Even the "outers" should agree that Mankers did help in progressing the image of the club in Europe and around the World by winning silverware.
I for one will be applauding in appreciation when and if it is the 61st minute(although I think 16th minute would be more appropriate.)

Wouldn't it be nice if City put a photo of Mancini on the big screens after the final whilstle along with a very brief statement along the lines of the press release - good luck and thanks for what you brought to the club - that sort of thing.

Gives the fans chance to show their appreciation and maybe that there are no hard feelings towards him from the club.

I think it's a great idea but had he gone of his own accord then maybe but they sacked him so I can't see it happening Dave .

I'm inclined to agree with you .....

City seem to only too keen to move on , and Mancini and his backroom staff all appear to have been dismissed ...

as far as the club appear to be concerned , it outs with the old , and in with the new ... and the sooner the better !
