Change of kit on Sunday

We played there in dark blue twice recently aswell in 2016 and 2018. I don’t understand why, visually the shirt looks nice watching it in person. If and big if we break our no win streak (with crowds) then it will be an iconic kit.

Mental preparation is most definitely a part of sporting success, footballers both consciously and subconsciously play their biggest games in their heads long in advance of the event and the dirty dippers are no different to the rest in that regard.

We’ve been the reason for their failures for most of the last decade, we’re the PL Champions that they wanted to be. They think anguished thoughts about us constantly while awake and have nightmares about us when tucked up in dreamland after a cup of cocoa and a good puff on a blue inhaler.
They’ll have played this game a thousand times in their shite filled noggins and they’ll have been up against us in blue & white for the most part and possibly red & black in a few others.
Our third kit won’t have been in the equation and I like the notion of us wearing a kit that they ain’t mentally prepared for.

I think it gives us a tiny little extra edge and those 0.001% advantages are important at the highest levels where small margins make big differences.

Klopp & Co are his pet / paid media are doing their usual slagging of City in the press in 5he lead up to the game, to try to get some small advantage, and we’ve responded with a ‘fuck your mental preparation it’s all in the wrong colour’.

Might seem petty but it gets a thumbs up from me.

Slightly less of an edge if we‘ve told everyone we’re wearing it in advance though!
