Depends how you see things tbh.

Although I’ve come to accept we’ll wear whichever (usually daft) concept away kit we’ve released a number of times in the season, I like to see the traditional blue in our really big games. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

The players could wear edible undies and a push up bra for all I care, As long as we beat these horrible bastards that's all that matters.

Perhaps these would be the players that Gary Linekar mentioned as "coming out".

I agree but also imagine them doing mental gymnastics to try to rerun many months of scenarios in less than a week . . at least that what I’m hoping.

I’ve had a look and if you want to see for yourself, google 2022-23 Premier League handbook. It’s section M beginning on page 199.
In a nutshell, rules are now as follows:
1. Home team must wear its home kit unless there are exceptional circumstances.
2. Away team must inform the home team, the PL and PGMOL what kit it intends to wear a minimum of 10 days before the game and no party must have any issues with the choice in terms of the two kits clashing.
So a team is in theory free to wear one of its away kits for every away game should it so wish.

It’s pretty pointless anyway. Hopefully it brings us a positive result and we wear it in every game against them that we can.
