Good, the system before was idiotic, Celtic getting as many points for beating Barca as Arsenal would for beating Molde.

I mean, pot two will now include the likes of Real/Barca, Dortmund etc so we could still get hard groups but that'd be the luck of the draw, not shit rules.

I think now in the future we will get hard groups constantly. So nothing changes, except shit rules.

The fruit loops will turn it on its head. Every time a throw in is given against us in the league it will be big bad UEFA ensuring we don't get in pot one next season.

Pot 1: Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, PSG, Benfica, Juventus, CSKA Moscow
Pot 2: Barcelona, Chelsea, Arsenal, Porto, Schalke, Dortmund, Shaktar, Basel
Pot 3: Zenit, Leverkusen, Ajax, Liverpool, Olympiacos, Sporting CP, Galatasaray, Bilbao
Pot 4: Anderlecht, Roma, APOEL, BATE Borisov, Monaco, Malmö, Ludogorets, Maribor

Why should we be entitled to an "easy" group?" We had one last season IMO anyway. The new seedings are long overdue but at least UEFA have finally acted.

We should devote 100.000000% effort on winning the league this year now imho. Forget the CL this year - we are very unlikely to top the group and then we will be fucked in the knockouts even if we do get through.

So let's not allow the CL this year to distract us from our one and only target: We MUST retain our title and win the league.

We should devote 100.000000% effort on winning the league this year now imho. Forget the CL this year - we are very unlikely to top the group and then we will be fucked in the knockouts even if we do get through.

So let's not allow the CL this year to distract us from our one and only target: We MUST retain our title and win the league.

I agree that this probably will change our strategy and how we approach the season.
