Charging kids board

Takes me back. My pals sister tried to pull a fast one like that. her da said, if you can get all of what you get here for that fucking pittance, tell me where and I will fucking move in. £200 a month is a steal. In fact, throw the **** out and I will move in for £400a month.
Woah there big fellah, read a couple of pages back. I've already put Mrs Mist down for the first available room so don't you go gate crashing my pitch.

You can have second dibs at BMR's gaff. If you pretend your Sweedish he'll give it to you for free.
(Room and board will be £400 )

Whilst ever they live with us we wouldn’t charge them anything. Completely get asking for rent money to tee them up for the future but it’s not something neither I or the wife feel comfortable doing. I guess once our babies always our babies. Probably being very daft mind

Surely whether or not you feel comfortable doing it, in the long term it's preparing the kids for reality and the big wide world outside, the main part of a parents duty. You dont actually have to take it, just stuff it into a high saving account or similar on their behalf and watch their angelic little faces light up when you hand it back as a wedding present.

And when they meet, marry and move to Australia and you can't see your grandchild, you will think to yourself, ok I cant see my grandson but at least I'd be wedged. :-)
