Why are people moaning about it being at Villa Park?
I'm pretty sure its always been half way between both clubs, until Wembley took it over.

Not many people went to Wembley probably last year as its the game before the season kicks off, a lot of people getting last minute holidays (myself included) before the new season kicks off.

To be honest I reckon it will go close to general sale, so those worrying about 3000 or so points should have a shout with getting themselves there!

I posted on another thread, a lot seem to be over-estimating demand for this.

Not even sure it will sell out. If it does, it will go on open sale.

That's my guess, of course.

Have to agree with this. When you consider the new shirts to pay for, summer holidays open sale wont be far away

Can understand not going because of holidays to pay for but seems a bit perverse not to go and support your team because you chose to buy a shirt to show which team you support.

Gutted if I can't get a ticket for this, not sure I'll be able to! Fooking prawn sandwich munchers getting far too many.

Chelsea reported the dates their tickets go on sale last week. They have under 14,000 tickets and I'm guessing it will be the same for City. Villa are not entitled to any tickets so not sure why there's 12,000 seats yet to be publicly allocated for. Obviously the corporate part of the stands aren't as big as at Wembley so the rest must be "community" freebies.

It probably will be. It's a joke that they have to have so many. I don't understand why they do but hey! that's the sweet FA for you.

OSC's have now been advised of their allocation last night (10 received out of 18 requested for our branch) so I imagine details to be published very shortly.

Is it already time to talk about the CS?? Ohhh…I can smell that Wembley Grass already!! Through the TV that is, across the pond.

Anyway, feels like just yesterday that our very own Sergio Aguero smashed that onion bag in the 93rd.

"I swear you'll never see anything like this every again"

….feels good.

This will go Blue Card holders on any points IMO.

Ticket allocation and purchase information will be announced on Thursday 12th July here on mcfc.co.uk
