Cheapest Way To Munich

Been doing some research. Cheapest way I can find is Manchester - Zurich with Easyjet. Flying out on 27th return on 28th. £62 is the price. It is a 3 hour drive to Munich and the cheapest decent sized hire car I've found is for a mondeo, and that's £100. So if 4 of you go, flight and car for less than £100pp. Also if you have a hire car you could drive outside of Munich to get a cheaper hotel. Just a heads up if anyone is struggling with prices direct to Munich. Let's keep this thread going with the cheapest possible ways to Munich, if you can beat it then feel free, let's get as many blues there as possible!!!

Thanks for this... 2 Manchester - Zurich flights booked.

Now I just need to get 2 tickets. Have 2 season tickets. One with 5000+ points, one with 3920. Any way I will be able to add 80pts (am platinum) before Munich go on sale? Or do you think I will be okay with 3000+ on one anyway?

Thanks again!

a grand seems a steep climb though, is it first class?

Na economy class.

The cheapest flights I have found are £75 from Nottingham but you can only fly out on a Monday and come back on a Friday and I can't really afford to spend 5 days in Munich. Accommodation is obviously through the roof because of Octoberfest.

Guys, use <a class="postlink" href="http://www.opodo.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.opodo.co.uk</a> to book your Munich flights.

Basically it's 230 quid, as of 9pm 26th August, for Singapore Airlines.

Out 9.10AM on Tuesday, back 6.35AM on Wednesday. Say's there are only 6 seats left on the outbound.
