Cheating Refs

I thought the ref was actually pretty good today.

He wasn't going to give a penalty today to either side unless it was a stonewall decision and I don't think any of them were.

Suarez probably should have been shown a second yellow for his dive, but Clattenberg definitively didn't cost us this result today.

You are joking aren't you?

If City had made those challenges / handball in the box do you think he would have given penalties? Of course he would. He was a shithouse of a referee, afraid of the crowd and he's probably cost us the league.

Dont think Clattenberg cheated today, he was just as weak as piss water. Shame.

-- Sun Apr 13, 2014 4:40 pm --

Dont think Clattenberg cheated today, he was just as weak as piss water. Shame.

100% corrupt. Has been since 2011/2012 when will some wake up. The game is rigged and it's not in our favor.

Didn't ref another EFC match after he diddled the Toffees out of a last min pen in a Dipper derby. He's got previous. Thought he might have handed it to Stevie Starfish with a pen in injury time but that's pretty much the same thing, denying the opposition one.

Tasteless comment that!

Completely true, the world and the ref has been suckered into the emotional porn of hillsborough! If he had sent of suarez and we drew or won, all you would here would be cries of injustice. Hillsborough was a terrible disaster and the effects on families was terrible, however they milk that worse than united ever did with Munich.

Blaming Hillsborough?

That's low. Really low.

A liverpool fan cannot call anyone low after what your "fans" have done over the years. Get fucked.

City have been on the good end of poor decisions.

It happens in football.

At the Etihad, Sterling wasn't offside and Lescott was pulling Suarez's shirt in the box.

And if you think officials favour Liverpool, what about the Carroll goal last week?

its nothing to do with being a shithouse he has to be controvercial to prove how important he is

To blame that is ridiculous.

Grow up.

The handball was hard to spot in normal time.

Clattenberg didn't have the option to view several replays of the incident. If he did, he would have given it.

He didn't cost us this game today. None of the 5 goals today had anything to do with a refereeing decision.

Liverpool have bought the title, not with money, but with the memories of the dead. I think we all absolutely knew what would happen with a referee after the Hillsborough parade before the game and in the week building up to it. It would of taken a ridiculously strong referee to not crack under that pressure and hand them the game, but even with that considered, Clattenburg was a disgrace. We should make a complaint, but we all know how little that does.

Tasteless comment that!

mocking the disaster is tasteless, but it gave them a huge boost in a title-deciding game, the referee was clearly influenced and I dont think reasons other than the football should have that big of a say in the result of the match, its hard to word arguments like this without offending but fuckin' ell it came at the perfect time for liverpool. Was like the story had already been written.

And something that seems to have been erased from history, Skrtl was trying to take Konpany's shirt.off on every set piece.

For me:

Sahko on Dzeko - pen
Flanagan on Silva - pen
Skrtl - pen
Suarez - off.

Skrtls was the only one that wasnt blatantly obvious.

you're not a city fan.

dzeko pen stonewall
suarez dive obvious stonewall second yellow
flanagan pen stonewall
skirtel pen stonewall

if we get ANY of FOUR FUCKING OBVIOUS DECISIONS we at least draw, meaning we win the title. we got ZERO OF FUCKING FOUR OBVIOUS DECISIONS. the game is rigged

England has always hated new money, at least that's one aspect where America is better 100%

Have you forgotten the second Stevie ''La'' Starfish penalty? Or do you only count the dodgy decisions that go against you.

Dont think Clattenberg cheated today, he was just as weak as piss water. Shame.

I think Clatenburg cheated. The dive that Suarez did was too blatant and Clatenburg knew that a sending off would have caused far more controversy than leaving him on the pitch. He then did it twice in the space on ten minutes immediately afterwards and didn't get any fouls so why was he not carded on any of these occasions. Clatenburg was piss weak on the pens and a few other decisions which are par for the course but the dive had everyone waiting to see what he would do and he cheated. Ten men foe 35 minutes when we was on top was a fucking major decision in the game and he cheated and took the easy option.

Clattenburg wasn't that bad today . Before the teams went on the pitch Gerrard was having a word with Clatters . I think Steve was telling Mark not to send any Liverpool players off today .

O.k, so sterling wasn't offside. If the ref didn't blow for offside we wouldn't have stopped playing. Doesn't mean he would have scored. skrtl should have been sent off after conceding four fucking penalties. He was at it it again today, never mind the handball, the bloke has an unnatural obsession with Kompanys shirt. I'll give you the Lescott shirt pull and you still loose.

There was a clear foul on dzeko in the box in the first half = stonewall penalty

There was a clear foul on Silva in the box in the second half = stonewall penalty

Skrtl decided to change from playing rugby with our players, to being a volleyball player and forearmed the ball away. Again in the box= stonewall penalty

None can be disputed, even Stevie wonder could see they were all penalties.
