You just have to look at the difference in sentencing between men and women for the same crime.
In the eyes of the law he was convicted and in prison, are you saying no-one should comment on any case in case they are really innocent?good point - did Jessica go to the trial ? did she hear evidence? I doubt it- noone should have judged the guy without full facts-and if they did they should be quick to apologise and perhaps as quick as they did when he was 'convicted'
we all swallow the bollocks the media feed us and it is time to stop and think a bit- plus there ain't too many paragons of virtue in this world who are in a position to cast aspersions on Evans

I say again she never accused him of rape and it was the CPS who took him to court for rape not her,as i said before there are no winners here just 2 lives ruined by what ever went on between themShe has previous according to the BBC - It said that two other men who had sex with the woman had described their encounters with her in highly specific terms that were virtually indistinguishable from Mr Evans's own account of what had happened.
One of the encounters occurred days before the alleged rape - and the other in the days that followed.
On each occasion the woman had been drinking heavily and the sex occurred in a very specific way - including the words she used to encourage her partner.
Each time she woke up saying she had no memory of what had happened
Why should they? some of you have foccussed on what she said when there were others speaking out that don't get this griefThat is fair enough but now he is innocent they should equally speak up.
Yep there is that too but I was talking about society in general sometimes when you look properly at what we deem acceptable is it any wonder suicide is the biggest killer among men especially young men?You just have to look at the difference in sentencing between men and women for the same crime.
Correct.Again, I didnt say he broke any laws, I didnt call him a rapist at any point, all I stated was that what he did was wrong, something he himself admitted, yet a few seem upset at this and are defending his actions for him. A person can be in the wrong without breaking the law.
I haven't read the whole thread but I hope you didn't try and justify the decision to sentence him for rape and everything that came with it, with the fact that he and her got drunk and cheated on their other half? Doesn't come close mate if so, now's the time for those of us with any moral integrity to hold our hands up and say we were wrong to write him off so hastily(if that's what some of us did, you know the ones that knew it all long before the trial finished) but I won't hold my breath as it seems people willing to do that are rare.Again, I didnt say he broke any laws, I didnt call him a rapist at any point, all I stated was that what he did was wrong, something he himself admitted, yet a few seem upset at this and are defending his actions for him.
