This. As long as the bloke hasn't gone spiking her drink then there's rarely a problem. To claim that drunk men should have the sense not to have sex with drunk women comes across as a bit of a double standard.

For what it's worth I don't think JE-H should have to apologise- he was convicted of rape at the time after all- but I hope she at least has the decency to allow Sheffield to sign him if they want to in future.

I think people are aiming their anger at the wrong person,it's the police and CPS at fault here

As I understood it. Evans told the police he'd had sex with her and she told them she didn't remember. I understand it was the police who then charged him with rape or non-consensual sex.

The police do not charge rape-it's the CPS.
