Cheesman Sticking the Knife In

I happened to be listening yesterday when Cheeseman was on and to be honest I didn't think very much of it. I can't believe some of the stuff in this thread, just way over the top to a fairly unremarkable interview. It just sounded like he was giving an honest assessment of the press conference and an honest assessment of how things are going at City at the moment (ie something is not quite right on the playing side). Is he expected to lie and say that we are playing as well as last season or say that Mancini looked happy at the conference when clearly he didn't? He may be a blue but he is employed by the BBC to report about City, he isn't paid by the club to be a PR man.
Bluemoon making mountains out of molehills? Surely not!

Don't radio 5 have listen again option ?

They do edited podcasts of the shows that are about half the length of the original broadcast. I'd be amazed if the interview would be included on a podcast. If you can be bothered checking though it was the programme that was on between 2 and 4 yesterday and Mark Cavendish was the main guest. Ian Cheeseman was on towards the end of the interview with Cavendish.

I heard the interview and didn't think anything other than Ian Cheeseman, one of the biggest Blues I know, giving an honest opinion. I've seen worse on here. I've heard worse when travelling to and from the matches.

If you read Ian Cheeseman's book "Best job in the world" you will see how big a blue Ian is. (& no he doesn't employ me as his publicist!!)

He would be devastated to think that Blues thought he wasn't a fan.

It baffles me all this ''People aren't really fans/blues because they don't all bow and pay homage at the altar of all things City, without a single murmer of discontent.''

That is part of following a football club.Discussion, analyzing tactics, summing up matches and substitutions, players and managers peformances we do all that on forums like this ad some on radio phone in's/Some like Ian Cheesman are paid to give his views.

It doesn't mean when we get to the match we don't get behind the team. Some grumbling and the odd boo will happen at every match too.Bloody hell some of the bleeding hearts should have been at Maine Road 40 years ago,the booing at half time and sometimes full time could be heard over the pennines, lol!

It's the Bluemoon way.
Negative article in the paper about City? Must be bollocks and made up.
Reports of a £50m bid for Falcao? Where! When! Get the flight radar out!
Unless it's pro-City, it's either bollocks or the person in question isn't a blue or knows nothing about football.

It terrifies me,it would be boring if everyone bought into the happy clappy everything connected with City is wonderful mantra.
