sat with a couple of chav fans tonight watching the game , and they were not pissing themselves laughing they were shitting themselves like Conte was , (hence the additional defensive midfielder at half time)

Comments I heard from Chelsea fans as I legged it for Tube:

Made if hard for ourselves

Thought we were gonna lose

Didn't play well but won.

Same old story for City tonight and it won't change until we make more changes to the squad. The manager knows what he is doing but he is hamstrung by not having players that he can consistently rely on not to cock-up.

We need them to bring their A-game out in the FA Cup and not make too many errors in the league.

Get the transfer business right in the summer and we will win the league next year.

And yet they stopped GDB more easily.We as fans really need to stop giving our better players the benefit of the doubt when they are actually no better than average.Honesty Marv do you honestly believe that Silva fad a good game ?

You have an opinion as a fan. There comes a time when players game deteriorates. SIlva is playing at his best. Aguero's game has dipped. Surely that is what this forum is for for fans to discuss all things MCFC. Toure's game has gone. So has Zabaleta. Players life-span is limited. You know that

Maybe, but we've pissed a great chance of winning it this year. Pep has employed a system that 2/3 of his squad isn't comfortable with no plan B.

Our defenders get slated, but if Conte was in charge, Otamendi and Stones would both look world class, because they wouldn't continually be exposed.

I don't want Conte btw, his football is turgid, but he's going to win the league and he isn't afraid of changing systems to suit his players.

This is correct. We always look like we'll concede. He has to build from the back and only Kompany and stones should have a future there. Confidence will soar when we can lock other teams out, and this is our problem. We have to buy well and get the FB positions nailed down this summer.

I think so too. CFC did what they had to to win the game. We dominated possession and did well up to a point, but usual failings cost us in both boxes. I think Kompany/Jesus off legitimate hope that they will improve City as season comes to a conclusion

Top 4 given the personnel problems: keeper, Kompany, full backs, defensive midfield, Jesus injury would be fine. And already confident for next season as I can see Guardiola knows what he is doing. I think jesus is the type of player who can transform teams so I think his signing alone will make huge difference to MCFC

Was a yellow at worse. A cyncial dirty trick but there wasn't much force in it.
