He struck another player off the ball. Go read the fucking rules of the game on fouling, it's a mandatory red card as is any instance of deliberately striking an opponent with no intent of challenging for the ball. He stamped on Kompany's knee after the ball had gone with no attempt to play the ball, it's a red card all day long. If he'd punched Kompany would you say it was a yellow?
A retrospective ban will do us more harm than good seeing as they've got the rags coming up... so no doubt he'll get one
