Chelsea(A) - Post Match Thread

4 players who have surprised me

1) Ederson. Bravery, sweeps like Neuer and his distribution!

2) Sterling. Signs his finishing has improved. Increased willingness to run at defenders

3) Delph. Perhaps a bit early, and not based on much, but 2 very good recent performances.

4) Stones. Doing the basics.

The great thing is you could probably go on and write a list of 11 players. Great team spirit too.

Keep it going City. Match by match. Then our rivals will recede behind us.

nothing to see here with sane. I am pleased he was angry probably with himself after being subbed. I am glad we have someone who gets in referees face doesn't seem to do rooney any harm. he is reacting to the injustices we all know we get from referees. do you not think pep sees how he is reacting? if pep wanted him to change he would tell him. fantastic performance yesterday 10 out of 10

This was a great statement from City, we showed the standard needed to win the league. But just as a read previously this game is 3 points. We need to take it game by game, it is a long season and if we keep focus every game and stay away from more injuries I believe this can be our season. I am optimistic

For the golden oldie fans who will know what i mean and for the ones who never saw him. I think we have found the nearest player to Colin Bell and he is called Kevin de Bruyne.

I agree. Bell was all over the pitch, everywhere, contributing to everything. He was intelligent, could hold the ball and run with it and made the right pass at the right time. He was the powerhouse, the heart, lungs and brains of the team. KDB is the same. Bell was a more prolific goalscorer but other than that, they are out of the same mold. Even the physique is similar. KDB is very very special and we are very lucky to have him. Thanks José, best thing you ever did.

Think he was probably more angry he didn’t score,as he’s been on fire recently with goals and a couple of beauties as well..

So is hazard done studying his master Sterling tricks ?
Didn't say anything pre-game, because didn't want to jinx it, but would have loved it if he had scored and run by Hazard doing his funny run and flapping his arms! Would have been priceless!

"Raheem Sterling, he's top of the league!"
