Disappointing performance from City, but no complaints about the result. Chelsea the better team overall, and deserved the win. We never looked like scoring in the second half. Ah well, 4 toughest away fixtures out of the way & hopefully we’ll have Agüero and De Bruyne back soon.

Chelsea were not the "the better team overall".
They rode there luck scored a good goal then got a second goal from a non corner.
Fair play to them but don't make them out they we're the the 'better team overall'.
We never looked like scoring in the second half agreed but they never looked like scoring in the first half (but they did).
Fine margins, they were not the better side.

Our GD took a bit of a kicking today, also.

Yes, it changed by 6. Obviously that’s not an issue at the moment but it does show how quickly things can change.

At least it should make idiots pause who were saying only yesterday that we should be crowned champions now.

Don’t post very often (but, as name suggests, I live in South West England and I’ve supported City since the late 60s - so don’t call me a rag) but I’m frustrated by tonight’s result. Pep is god but felt we were unbalanced with a front three of Mahrez, Sane and Sterling (particularly with another left footer in Bernardo in the team). So much more balanced with Sane on left and Sterling on right - and I didn’t get the substitution. Sane more dangerous than Mahrez

I have looked at the first goal and Sane imo was held to account for not getting back. However with that in mind he was by far the most productive in the first half. When Sane was pegged early in the second half could it pep was still angry with Sane because Mahrez was hardly up to helping the much improved Sterling in the second haif

It wasn't a dig mate, the key point is we are still 8 better than them despite a -6 today (we can't afford too many of those days though).

I didn't take it as a dig. Just clarifying my original post which was, admittedly, a bit lazy :)

But yeah, still a decent GD, just a poor day at the office.

Not really too many positives to take from the day all round.

I think Fern and Silva need a bit of a break. Hopefully Silva's isn't an enforced one.

Sorry to crack on about it . But I mentioned it earlier in the season. That mahrez penalty debacle could cost us the title.
