That’s my fear. On paper this team is capable. But his tactics hamstring us ie foden told to keep the ball at all costs. Zero risk. I want the pep of yesterday! Allow the lads the freedom in the final third.

We used to have 5 and no forward and did more than ok.

I think it's more about trying to find the right balance. We can't press intensively with Haaland and KDB, so we have to find a team that can allow them to play to their strengths and yet cover their weaknesses.

we played the best football under pep with a midfield 3 of ferna, david and KDB that is it. also had sane, sterling with aguero at the top who does not even press as much as Haaland. not buying this at all.
