Check out Bernados celebration after sergio scored. He squats down arms aloft. Love the little guy. Always had a smile and a tough little cookie.
Zinchenko with two assists? Well done that man
Would have been better with the penalty and RC for Young's "tackle" on Aguero at the Etihad last season.Home record against the rest of the current "big six" since Pep took over:

Chelsea - lost 3-1
Arsenal - won 2-1
Tottenham - drew 2-2
Liverpool - drew 1-1
Man United - drew 0-0
17/18
Liverpool - won 5-0
Arsenal - won 3-1
Tottenham - won 4-1
Chelsea - won 1-0
Man United - lost 3-2
18/19
Man United - won 3-1
Liverpool - won 2-1
Arsenal - won 3-1
Chelsea - won 6-0
Tottenham - ?
14 games, 9 wins, 3 draws, 2 defeats. Amazing record.
My worry is that if the rags get past Chelsea the powers that be will help them win the trophy. I want the Norwegian paperboy to get the job as much as the next blue but not at the expense of a trophy. I'm sure they'll be up for the game against the dippers, come what may.Hmmmm, usually I'd agree but we need the rags to keep their momentum going until they play the dippers.
It really is a fabulous score. I remember thinking when Ederson made that save dontgive them nowt.6-0 people. Concentrate on that.
Yep, said this to our kid wen we were swapping texts throughout the game.Still smashing them 6-0 without really seeming to get out of 3rd gear was great to witness.
Those rags will smash the dippers...........at least they'd better fucking do.My worry is that if the rags get past Chelsea the powers that be will help them win the trophy. I'd worry about that, if we weren't still in the cup.My worry is that if the rags get past Chelsea the powers that be will help them win the trophy. Totally agree, we were clinical in the first half but we didn't actually play that well, KdB and Fernanadhino gave the ball away quite easily at times, and Chelsea got at our defence, with Ederson making one great save and a couple of others too, but we completely bossed the second half.I thought we were probably better in the 2nd half. More control, longer periods of possession. More aggressive off the ball. We really toyed with them.
I think we will win the champions league this year.
I was stood near the back of the old Kippax for that one. November 1977.
The history section gives the scorers as:
It's about time that we did.
I said yesterday that I still think the team has another gear to shift up through.
Do you mean the left back , "who shouldn't be in the squad, never mind in the team."
When people post things like that, they must have thick skins to come back on the next match.
Gundogan did ok too, and he has one or two doubter -:)

I know what you mean. This season we have played well in patches but not many times have we been at our absolute best for 90 minutes, particularly recently. Yesterday we were, just at the right time. We needed it psychologically for the run-in. It feels to me like we are clicking into top gear/form perfectly for a momentous season end. That's why I think we will win the Champions League.
This game is a bit off.
Chelsea are ill-equipped for Sarri's style of play - immediate high press once the ball turns over and energetic rapid attack once in possession.
I've thought that this Chelsea side would finish out of the top 4 since the beginning of the season.
This game just reinforces my belief.
Sarri is a good manager with a workable, exciting system - but he'll likely be sacked soon.

At any rate - we played extremely well, cutting to shreds the poor press attempted by Chelsea and creating numerous scoring opportunities due to Chelsea's lack of adequate pressure on our midfield.
