Without meaning to be overly critical...
Zinchenko dribbled himself into trouble/turnovers on several occasions. He clearly isn't as skilled as the rest of the City players on the pitch. I don't think he'll be with us next season.
Gundo - whom I really like - switched off in the 2nd half - making very poor passes back-to-back leading to turnovers. Gundo needs to up his concentration and play well throughout given how talented our midfield is.
There's a tribal element about following sports - it's us against them. Any criticism against our lads is bad - they're perfect in every way. Why?
After a performance and a result like this one why do you feel the need to criticise players on a fan forum?
Why?
Is it a desire to demonstrate how knowledgeable you are about the game?
Why do I allow myself to get so wound up over this stuff?
I'm still buzzing over the Liverpool match...

Just watched tunnel cam from yesterday - who was the chappy who came out at half time and who Pep was talking to at the end?

Me?
I'm extremely pro-City.
But I'm not tribal - these forums, for me, are meant to discuss our favorite side - both good and bad.
If all one wants to hear is endless praise - what's the point of the forum?
Why what?Why?

After that game he has earmarked 3 players who he thinks aren’t good enough. Those 3 players are excellent backup players and I would say very good first teamers as well. What certain fans can not grasp is you are not going to get the 2nd string on par with the 1st string. If ours are bad fuck knows what the other teams are like.Imo our 2nd string are doing a decent job when getting their chance. Why?
It is generally agreed that both Alex and Ilkay had great games over all...
Why draw attention to a couple of mistakes which caused no problems?

He walked up the stairs with fitness coach Lorenzo Buenaventura at the very end he was talking to Ali Benarbia and walked off with Manel Estiarte who was Spain’s greatest water polo player, he is Pep's closest confident and his eyes and ears around the camp
A dictator in the making

I would also add - that my favorite manager in the world is likewise critical - never satisfied - always seeking to drive our side to even loftier heights.
Chelsea looked very dangerous towards the end of the half and Ederson made some fantastic saves.
Was a little concerned how easy they were able to attack down the middle, running off the back of our midfield. Luiz managed to pass between the lines a little too easily.
Arsenal had a similar 10 minute patch.
Agreed.Zinchenko had an excellent game.
Sergio doesn't do it very often. Once a season maybe. What Jesus offers that Sergio doesn't is blistering pace. The finishing is there (although his heading needs work.) The confidence is coming back too. I think he is ready now. It's just that Sergio's form is keeping him out.
