lovely to see Kevin score that winner as well. You could tell how pleased (and relieved) he was and Peps words after the game were spot on.
it was good to see Rodri and Kante battle it out. My conclusion was we don’t need to bring Kante back anymore. If there are a better full back combo in world football than ours could someone kindly point them out.

Good post. Im not trying to be arrogant here (for a change!) but that’s exactly how it was for me. At half time I knew we’d win, in the ten minute period before we scored I kept saying to my lad “there’s a goal coming”. The only thing that didn’t go as I predicted was that I felt we’d get a second when they pushed on. The only reason that didn’t happen was they got lucky every time we broke.

Their entire end spent most of the game asking us where our European Cup was. The majority of those fans are idiots. Not because they were trying to belittle us but because of the sheer stupidity of doing it when they were likely to get defeated. They were on a run of 4 league wins in 11 league games (now 12), and had an injury crisis. You don't look down your nose at someone if they are likely to put you on the floor.

Tommy had a wonderful attacking bench , far better than ours , his only shot was keeping it tight and bringing then on later to try and nick it , they should have better tactics than that and hold their own against the best in the league , small time mentality

I am always nervous at 1-0 but the boys had it covered , i was elated after the game was over but today it has sunk in what a good position we are in , not over but looking good , never forget 8 pts with 6 games to go ..

Embarrassing from them, Basically the exact same tactics as the likes of Wolves, Newcastle, Everton ect....A game they had to win to stay in with a glimmer of winning the league and they turn up with that shit show. Park the bus twats. 1 shot on target in 180 minutes of football haha

I don’t mind that at all, it’s good we put the fear into them. Much prefer teams shit it than have a go and we lose 3-4. Let them give up before a ball is kicked.
 
Thought Chelsea were really negative. Just looked to defend and try and get a goal on the break. Just set up like lower table teams. Running scared. Was a total joy when Kev smacked in his wonder goal. Chelsea European champions only because we beat ourselves on the day. No way are they anywhere near as good as us.
