I’m intrigued to see what pep does. Full strength vs weak team. Agree with a lot of posters about winning the league today to put a marker down but I’m not completely convinced we’ll do that....

if Pep sees a weakness in any of our lads, following the semi-final, then they wont be picked. None of us know what injuries/niggles occurred, but the narrative will be "Pep's tinkering again", if some are rested, especially after a defeat.
After a win, there is always a chorus of "should av' played the kids" a draw or loss " ffs sake Pep, play yr best team" . Rotation is why we are where we are, it's not an exact science but we seem to be good at it imo, so who-ever he picks tonight will not have me chucking the toys out.

I've lost count of the amount of times Pep has said on rotation, "If I win I'm a genius, if we lose it's all my fault".

Clever rotation has been the key to this season’s success. Pep knows the squad and sees the bigger picture better than anyone.

Don't forget how he's held back on pointless substitutions, another thing that's had people falsely questioning him.

But I take your point. Perhaps I should have said their squad as a whole has less experienced at the elite level... How my titles do the current Chelsea side have between them compared to City?

Our players have a lot more experience of playing in the really big games. I think that's got to count for something...

I get your point, just not sure if that will be a big factor here.
Today City will be under less pressure, win or lose we are winning the big one in next two weeks. On the other hand we might have pressure of expectation in CL final.

I think he needs to give Sterling, Jesus and Aguero a chance to show what they can do.

Ram has had some horrible form recently but his off the ball movement has been a big part of our game over the last few years, and Aguero hasn’t been bad either.

Rodri, Bernardo and Kev to start in midfield with Gundo replacing Kev on 60 mins.

I think we’re going to beat the chavs 1-0.

Havent a clue what Pep might do, but I would like us to play near our best eleven and win this game, celebrate the league win and have plenty of time to prepare for the cl final.
