No lover of replays at all.
Not just because it suits us with all our games, but for the competition in general it makes the weekend of matches so much more exciting for the neutral, with great spectacles across games which I’d never bother with normally.
Knowing it’s all gonna be decided on the day means I’ll often tune in when it’s close after an hour, whoever is playing.
And yes, I know all the arguments about funding for small clubs from replays on tv, but I’m sure future tv deals could be tweaked to allow for the loss of them.

I think it will be somewhat unfair of City to put 11 starters on the field and have the option of using 5 subs.

Yes a gentleman and great player. A joy to watch. Gone way too soon. RIP.Genuinely heartbroken. He was a major part of Chelsea during my childhood. Wonderful player, genuinely one of my all time favourite players. I expected this terrible news but I’m stilled stunned in disbelief that he’s gone. Gone way too soon.
Rectified that now at least…Threw a few extra years of his career away.
A gifted technical player but inconsistent and not hungry enough.
It’s to be hoped he’s invested well !!
