Chelsea-Liverpool, United-Leeds, Brighton-Palace all off, rest of the games on (pg 128)

Because as a footballer, he was superb. I respected the silence along with all City fans already in the seats, and quite a few others, including some mates, decided they would stay on the concourse until the silence was completed. If people dont wish to pay their respects, staying in the bar area for a few moments isn't too much to ask.
Yeah, he was one of a kind. I can't recall another footballer throwing a handfull of mud at a ref! I remember one pushing a ref over, but not a handful of shit off the pitch.

Lots of people stayed on the concourse but I don't remember any City fans booing. Personally I couldn't understand it because while Best was a great player he was a terrible person off the pitch. I didn't see why he should be singled out for a minute's silence when the same had not been done for hundreds of other great players. Do you think Paul Gascoigne will get a minute's silence? The Best tribute was just clubs bowing to media pressure.

People who need time to mourn more, or feel they couldn’t make it through a game without dissolving into tears can simply stay home. They have a choice. When it’s a blanket ban because of some dictat that you can’t do both day is mourning by force.

Other sports went ahead and I haven’t read of any incidents of people being carted away overcome.
Professional or proscribed mourning isn’t on. It isn’t disrespectful to go to a game and if some think it is, who the fuck are they to tell me how I should feel and when? Utter bollocks.

And what about the countless people who had paid for travel and hotels to be told they can’t because some **** took that decision? Will the state reimburse them? If not, then why not?

The year is 2022 not 1622.
They have banned fancy dress at the cricket. Personally i think this should extend to every sport, forever.

Every team in premier will get a point so it will stay as you are! Games will be coming think and fast as it is now we going to fit in another two games like every team’ meaning more injuries plus disadvantaged in Europe! Back point why throw away 2 points in your thinking them every team be throwing aways 2 points when in fact every team will get 1 point and if he just like playing a 36 game season..
As I said, why would we throw away 2 points.

The more I think about the fa decision to postpone this weekend football the more it pisses me off.

The hardship this has caused business that relie on matchday trade. The people employed on a casual basis. The fans who have lost money on bus/train fares even plane fares !.

If this weekend games are moved to midweek than some fans will have the hassle of selling or cancelling their tickets. Knowing the fa it will be rearranged on a train strike !

The fa really dont understand the amount of people involved in matchdays.

I would like to know why the fa felt they had to be different to nearly every other sport. If its because they were worried about a minute silence not being observed, how dare they class all fans the same.

Why didnt the fa postponed the matches that they thought it might happen. Why postponed my local under 8' from even training. Its fucking ridicules.

I am really pissed off with this.
