Chelsea-Liverpool, United-Leeds, Brighton-Palace all off, rest of the games on (pg 128)

Surely they are just delaying the inevitable though, will we not have minute silences at our first games back anyway?

Agree there seems to be a growing idea that the games were postponed due to how the dippers might behave.

I guess there will be a minutes silence before each game next .

I still believe games should have been played if the dippers showed themselves it would gave been interesting how the press/media cover it up

This is the conversation that keeps going round in circles.

@twosips and co “I’m not that upset by this, I don’t want to grieve, people should have the option of carrying on as normal if they want”

@kaz7, @Gorton_Tubster and co. “Yeah but it means a lot to me and others so you should all have to do what we want and cancel football, have all tv and radio channels dedicated to 24 hour coverage of the queen”
I never said that

They disrupted the minutes silence for George Best before our home game against them and if I remember correctly the media and rags blamed City fans for it. The media will always cover the backs of feral scum who are totally incapable of returning the respect they expect from everyone else.

I still don't know why all of football had to mark the passing of a liver-wasting, wife-beating drunk.
And we'll have similar when the GPC goes.

Because as a footballer, he was superb. I respected the silence along with all City fans already in the seats, and quite a few others, including some mates, decided they would stay on the concourse until the silence was completed. If people dont wish to pay their respects, staying in the bar area for a few moments isn't too much to ask.
