Chelsea-Liverpool, United-Leeds, Brighton-Palace all off, rest of the games on (pg 128)

Life will go on after we miss one football match. I would have preferred for tomorrow’s game to be on but I won’t lose any sleep about the postponement.

The bin dippers would have abused the minute’s silence and the Queen deserved better than that.

So they will all still get paid tomorrow then and be able to pay their Gas & Electric, sorted!
Was there this level of hysteria when the Premier League has an international break?

I don’t recall this level of whining when the Premier League is put on hold for the international breaks. What about when the Premier League announced a break for the World Cup? I would be grateful if you would post a link for these threads

A quick look at RAWK would confuse both of us mate, there are probably more shit opinions in here than RAWK .

everything going ahead as normal apart from Football, doesn't make any sense at all
Just shows how out of touch with the real world football is. From the Premier League to each club’s boardrooms, they don’t relate and can’t relate to their fanbases and have shown this over a number of years now.

Sunday Cup finals
FA Cup semis and Community Shield at Wembley
Ticket prices
Prices of food+drink in the stadiums (was at £7.60 for a pint at West Ham? and it’s £3 for a bottle of Coke at City)
Putting games like Brighton v Newcastle on a Monday night
And now cancelling all this weekend’s games when there was no need and even a precident was set when King George died and football went ahead.

But it’s not the end of the world. This season is already being ruined by the World Cup so this is only small in comparison. The games will get played eventually and we’ll all still have a nice weekend!

I think you'll find that International breaks don't just appear out of the blue, Mr Blue...
