Chelsea-Liverpool, United-Leeds, Brighton-Palace all off, rest of the games on (pg 128)

What I honestly dont understand is, I can walk down to my local pub. Or shop. They'll be open as normal. I can also walk down to my local town hall and sign a book of condolences Or leave flowers

But standing in a football stadium and singing the National Anthem and observing a 2 minutes applause or silence in memorium is cancelled. At a time when a divided country needs uniting the most and sport has that affecf (see: London 2012, which the Queen was proud to be part of), its utterly absurd.

On top of that, we will be able to do it on Wednesday and likely not again come the weekend.

I also think would have been a good opportunity for people to be able to show respect across the country. Every football ground would have been full of people singing(if they chose to) the national ahthem.

It’s completely nonsensical when you think about it rationally.
