Chelsea thread 2012/2013 season

Chelsea today showed what quality they have. If they buy a top class centre half and a central midfielder then they will be challenging for the league next year. They have De Bryune, who has been Bremen's best player this season and Lukaku to bring back as well.

but what if they miss out on UCL? might not be able to get those players.

It wouldn't matter too much, it's not that they are liverpool, they can miss it for one year at most.

You implying because of the Fair Play rules or players not wanting to come? The Fair Play rule may be a problem, but attracting players won't be a problem. They can easily sell the club to them.

Think the game today demonstrated Chelsea in a nutshell - how truly awful they are right now, and how good they could be. Alot of potential there, and with an actual striker, a decent midfielder or 2, and a manager who actually knows what he's doing, they could be quite a side.

How I'd so love it if they took care of the rags in the replay. Gone from talking about the treble to being played off the park by shitty Chelsea at home to barely hang on for the replay in the space of 1 week. LMAO

Must admit, Chelsea surprised me there.
They started off the way I expected them but suddenly found this urge to compete. Good performances from Hazard, Luiz, Ramires. So many times they would build from back and Luiz would urge other players to move into spaces and make a run.
Rags were made to look average.
The rapist has stuck somewhat of a lean form of late. love it.

Not sure if it's been mentioned on this thread or the semifinal thread, but we could do with Chelsea winning on Thursday, massive pile up of fixtures which could benefit us IF they win the replay, as they would play on the thursday before the semi I think?

I know it probably looks desperate, but I don't care, I want to win the FA Cup.

Chelsea + Mourinho + Falcao = just fook off. At least general ABUs will be happy, City and Chelsea fighting United instead of just City (and there are countless ABUs around the world, even Liverpool fans want us to win the league). We've graduated beyond pure ABU stage though since we want to win the league every year whereas in the past we wanted Anyone But United to win the league!
