Chelsea thread 2012/2013 season

Well done Chelsea. You have pissed off the rags, though, by daring to win a European trophy when you name is not United. The nerve of it.

Ferguson's record in Europe has been abysmal, it's the elephant in the room nobody likes to mention. Other English teams achieving something in Europe makes these people especially unconformable. They only won in 2008 because Drogba got himself sent off and Terry famously slipped.

Fuck em though. Their bitterness makes it more enjoyable, as I'm sure City fans can appreciate.

Congrats, you've once again represented us well in Europe.

Both major European trophies with interim managers. That's quite a feat.

Well, stability is overrated lol! Congrats to Chelsea for yet another trophy - enjoy it!

If, as expected, Mourinho joins Chelsea for next season, they will be a real force to be reckoned with. They'll be legitimate title contenders, something they haven't been for the past couple of seasons. Wouldn't surprise me either if Mourinho wasn't the driving force behind getting Lampard another contract, he looked certain to be out the door a couple of months ago whereas now he seems likely to be getting another deal.

Benfica's manger is called Jesus and if he had a beard, he'd look like him. He'll be at a better club next season. Nailed on.

What are his teams like on crosses?

ps. Good luck to rafa
Don't mention that. It's a thorny issue.

If things are kicking off in Lisbon following the loss they might need to send in the Calvary.
