Chelsea Thread 2013/14 (continued)

Not much of an advantage, but he was moaning on all our behalf on that issue. The league has made no concessions for their representatives in Europe for years. He complained about this the last time he was here as well.

Not sure if it has been discussed anywhere in the papers, but Abramovic's wealth may have taken a big hit in the last few months

Russian Company Valuations have plunged following the Ukraine "crisis". I am not sure how much of his wealth is tied up in Russian companies. His investments are probably reasonably diversified if he's sensible. He was however a major shareholder in Evraz an iron ore miner which mines in Russia and the Ukraine and that company's share price has fallen a lot. All paper valuations of course. Doesn't really matter if the investments go vack up in value. In the short term it may have an impact on Chelsea in the short term

I don't think Mourinho will go for it and he seems to like Ramires a lot, but for me Chelsea look better when they play Matic and Luiz in the centre together. If Brazil win the world cup then I don't think Luiz will mind moving into midfield. Luiz is going to have to play there for the next couple of games and he may yet change Mourinho's mind on him.

Also on Tuesday Etoo showed once more he was always better than Drogba. Etoo scoring the goals to knock Drogba out of the CL at Stamford Bridge has happened again.

Never saw quite how easy their run in is. Teams generally will drop points somewhere but they really couldn't have hand picked their fixtures any better. Hoping Liverpool get something from them and one other team. Lost points v West Ham, WBA and Villa have let us off the hook, now we need to capitalise.

tbh, its the lower half teams that they have struggled against this season. They have had an incredible record against the top half teams while struggling against the likes of west brom, west ham, villa, stoke etc.

They will come unstuck in a game or two after their CL fixtures i'm sure.
