That's one thing Shurrle usually gives you. Adjusting to the league, but if he is picking up form could be vital in the run in. If today is anything to go by looks like they are picking up form at just the right time.
He's very much in the Ronaldo mould (though obviously not the same class) as a sort of inside forward. Quick, strong, and very direct. Almost a striker out wide. Hazard is more like Ribery with the trickery and guile. Though Schurrle was refreshingly clinical today, Hazard turned it around. He assisted the first two and generally took Fulham apart. The main difference was he had someone making runs for him to find.
If it was not for Suarez then Hazard would be my player of the season. Last year I thought he could not play 10, but I was wrong he is just phenomenal. The passes he made today were out of this world. I always said Gotze and Neymar will be the next two best players in the world, but Hazard is ahead of them at the minute. Mourinho is right he is the best young player in the world and improving.

Schurrle making the runs is something people ignore too often. When you have guys like Ozil or Hazard you need people like Walcott or Schurrle.

If chelsea win the title then hazard will get the POTY ahead of Suarez.

Not a truer word said mate. To get the best out your number 10's, you need runners. Chelsea have that in Schurrle and Willian and Torres especially, while who was making the runs for Arsenal yesterday? An increasingly static Podolski, or more number 10's in Cazorla & Rosicky? The less said about Giroud the better. I know its a pipe dream maybe but I feel Arsenal need a Reus / Griezmann type player to play wide left, with a more all round player as the point, and Walcott wide right to truly get the best from Ozil.

Anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread about Arsenal. I now for sure agree with the bookies and count us out. I fully expect Chelsea to beat Spurs and open that 9 point gap up, and I think it might be too much in the end for City to catch up with. I think Chelsea playing Spurs and Arsenal at home with Liverpool away is an easier set of fixtures than Ity having to play Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool all away.

Hazard's passing range and vision is severely underrated. He displayed more of it last season though. The thing is he's even better running at opponents than acting like a playmaker. He's pretty much a complete attacking midfielder, but I much prefer the way Mourinho has him playing to last season.

This one for Mata against Spurs last season was brilliant:

If, and it's a pretty big if at this point, economic sanctions are imposed against Russia and assets are seized, would Chelsea be the first state run football club in this country?

got to admit it was premature of me to dismiss them when they were having problems earlier in the season. I thought the imbalance of squad, the lack of a world class striker will hurt them. Coupled with mourinho factor being overrated as I predicted coming back to manage them again will end up badly.

Not happy to say I'm wrong. They are firing on cylinders now and will only get much better next season. Their young players will improve much. And hazard may become the league's most potent attacking force from midfield.

They will be our main rivals for many years. Just the mourinho factor alone will guarantee it.

No because according to Gill, we are a club run by a state/nation, for that nation. Or whatever crap he was spouting.

Has Jose pointed out that we've got an unfair advantage playing early on sunday after an away tie in the champions league in the Wednesday yet?
