Chelsea Thread 2013/14 (continued)

Anyone watching the Jose programme on Sky Sports 1now. I know he can be a right twat, but what a manager !!

Looks like it will be a trophiless season for Mourinho, but he would have learnt a lot. It's my opinion the team are missing at least 3 players to be at the level Mourinho wants.

1. A world class striker
2. A ball playing partner to Matic
3. A quality centre back.

Aguero
Silva
Kompany

Even if they just bought a top bracket striker (which they will this summer) they will deffo win something next season.

Well done Madrid, much the better side.

Luis and Ramiers were utter dog turd. Does Eto'o always walk around with a permanent limp? He just does it for show I think

Not that I don't rate Silva, but that was not what I meant. They need someone like Modric, Kroos, Moutinho or Gundogan. Not a no10, they will use Oscar there.

Disagree about Luiz. He was decent, but was let down by his partner and generally outclassed. Luiz and Ramires might be sold in the summer. I expect they will raise a lot of money.

Torres, Luiz, Ramires and maybe Demba ba may all be sold. Lukaku, Moses and a host of other youngsters might be sold for a profit too.

They were desperate and close to getting Modric before he went to Real, so glad they missed out on him, he's exactly what they're missing along with a world class striker.

Eden Hazard admitted Chelsea are "not made to play football" following Wednesday's exit from the Champions League at the hands of Atletico Madrid.

Jose Mourinho's men took the lead through Fernando Torres but goals from Adrian Lopez, Diego Costa and Arda Turan ensured Atletico set up an all-Madrid final in Lisbon next month.

And after the match Hazard suggested that chasing the game with Diego Simeone's men defending in numbers was never going to suit his side.

"I don't know what we lacked," he told beIN Sport. "After scoring, we had the game in our hands. Maybe they wanted it more than we did... It was an intense game. Beautiful to watch with opportunities.

"I'm sad but logic has been respected bacause they deserveed to qualify.

"Chelsea is not made to play football. We're good on the counter, a little bit like Real against Bayern.

"We did it well tonight since we scored. But their goal hurt us before the break. We failed to make the difference in the second half.

"Often, I'm asked to do it all by myself and it's not easy. It was a complicated game. It will be a lesson for us regarding next year."

The comment is likely to raise further questions about the Belgian's long-term future at Stamford Bridge, with reigning Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain avowed admirers of his talents.

Hazard stoked the fire of speculation by donning a PSG shirt for an interview with Canal+ after Chelsea's 3-1 defeat to Laurent Blanc's men at the Parc des Princes earlier this month.

He won't be there when he's 25.

Looks like their fans smashed up the wrong bus afterwards
