He'll get away with it for one season. But if it's shit football and no trophies next year he'll be out on his arse.
He will be judged on next season. This year he did well in the League and the CL, but in an ideal world would have won a cup. The football was poor, but he did not have the players to go out and attack the big teams. His job is to build another team for Chelsea and win something. Money should not be an issue considering he can sell players to raise funds. Not winning the CL or premiership with Chelsea will be a disappointment.

Don't buy the didn't have the players to attack line. He started the season with Oscar, Hazard , Mata, Schurrle, Wilien. There is enough flair there to rotate 3 behind Lukaku ot Eto or even play 4 of them and no striker as they are all decent finishers and good enough to get into the area. The fact is he let his best striker go on loan and then sold Mata in January.

Sending Lukaku out on loan was a big mistake in my opinion.

Chelsea's problem with attacking is not down to the 3 they have behind the striker. The 3 they can put out are fantastic. The problem is that they lack a clinical striker to score all the chances and lacked players to keep a clean sheet. It's the same as Liverpool, when they attack they concede lots of goals and that is going to cost them the league.

Selling Mata, a player I rate highly was very good business. 37 million was far too much for Mata and it allowed them to buy Matic. Abramovic wants to balance the books somewhat and it was selling Mata that allowed Matic to be bought and their season to be changed. I think the mistake was in letting De Bruyne go and bringing in Salah. De Bruyne had great delivery and the creativity they lacked when Oscar was exhausted.

Add De Bruyne to that list aswell, He's had players capable of playing attractive football, but has slumped into a negative style, one that won't appease the likes of Oscar and Hazard, his criticism of the pair will hardly go down too well either, I can't see him lasting their long, especially if the likes of Hazard turn around and say they've had enough.

Even if we don't go onto to win the league, the fact that us beating villa stopped chelsea and bigmouth maureen from having a chance of winning it fills me with complete joy no end......
Gobshite jose has got right on my tits this year, when the news broke of him coming back I thought yeah great, should make it interesting but he's been nothing but a poor loser and a complete embarrassment.
Un fuckin lucky mate, I hope the wooden spoon will look good next to your massive ego.

Mourinho's always played shit football, just with good to excellent tactics.

Fuck all has changed apart from the universal view that football has to be played 'one way' over the other. Which of course is false. The beauty in football is that there is no one way to play it. Whilst it may be shit to watch, it's done him reasonably well over his managerial career and it's no less a part of the game than tika taka or counter attacking football.

Not sure about that. Whose Premier League goals record are we behind? Porto played good football in Portugal (though quite negative in Europe) and during his first season at Chelsea, I thought they played some excellent, attractive football but after that he seemed to become more cautious. No idea why.

I didn't watch Real Madrid too many times but they didn't seem overly negative in the few games I saw.

Ancelotti's ;)

Oops. I thought it was Chelsea from Mourinho's first season. They did play some very good football that season and scored plenty with Robben and Duff out wide. Not sure why he changed his approach for the following seasons though.

Also the manager he doesn't rate, pellers ,wins the title haha

I hope this too turns out to be true, but it's not quite done yet.

Not counting any chickens but it makes me chuckle the thought that pellers might do better than him as well as him not winning anything 2 seasons in a row

Even if we don't win the title - please, please, City, don't fuck this up now - Pellegrini will still have won more trophies in the last two seasons than the eye-gouger.

Ancelotti's Chelsea.

As you say though he plays attractive enough football when he has the players. Even this season there was a period after January when they were playing great football. Apart from the big games, where they were defensive, what killed them is Oscar's burn out.
