What is the issue with de bryuen again? Not very good or just too many attacking mids at Chelsea at the moment?

Haven't seen him play since the first game Chelsea started him. He got lost in the whole mata vs oscar debate that went on for too long.

Ok I will admit it.....these lot are starting to concern me now.

I think that faux-pas in the last minute by Joe is gonna come back and haunt us.....

That was a big point swing to them. I would be sitting a lot happier if we had 1 point more and them 2 less. The way they have played away at Southampton and Hull was Chelsea of old. Tight for an hour and then turn the screw.....

Looking ominous and won't go away.

The game at the Etihad is going to be a titanic battle.....

I can see us meeting them I a key cup clash at some point this season as well.

They are going to be our main challengers for many trophies over the next few seasons ( if mourinho stays).

I can see Bobby and Drogba knocking them out of the cl and jose getting sacked, it'd be mental at any other club, but Chelsea its possible.

Hi fellow blues.

I have joined the forum to talk out things about the EPL.

First thing I must say is that the Title has to be decorated in blue. If it is not meant for Mourinho to win on his first season back, then it has to be Man City. I would hate nothing more then the Rags or Le Arse to win it. Under no circumstance this can be allowed.

Good luck to you all and Pellegrini. He is a noble man!
cheek of you turning up on this forum, after the transfer saga you put us through
What does this mean? What saga?

What debate? Oscar has vastly outplayed Mata this season.

If the Matic deal goes through they'll have pretty much paid Benfica £67m for Luiz and Ramires with Matic going on loan for 2 and a half years. Ridiculous policy at that club, they'll probably resign de Bruyne for £30m in 2 seasons.

Mourinho doesn't like his attitude it seems. Something was said when he was picked to play Swindon away but wasn't picked for the Prem game or he didn't out any effort in for the Swindon game and was left of the squad for the Prem game...something like that.

I don't like Mourinho but he only wants hard workers playing for him he doesn't have time for wasters.

-- Tue Jan 14, 2014 7:50 pm --

De Bruyne business seems great, they bought him for like 7-8m, like we did with Sinclair, he cant get into their team not even on the bench and now they are selling him to wolfsburg for around 17m pounds.

We will be lucky if someone comes and gives 3m for Sinclair.
For every De Bruyne they have ruined another talented player. Financially the policy has worked. They made/will make profit on most of the players they bought. However, for the game it has probably halted a lot of players development.

Matic having medical tomorrow. Quality signing that for Chelsea.
How good is he?
Great all round midfielder, tall guy but still extremely good with the ball at his feet and can start attacks from deep. Bargain at 20 million for me.

...................Matic.............Ramires................

Willian...................Oscar..................Hazard...

Add a quality striker to that and they have one of a hell of a side.
It's not a bargain when they've already let him to for free. But he is a good signing for them.

He fell out with Mata.

Chelsea won Uefa Cup last year. Jose comes in to manage Chelsea and says they shouldn't celebrate a second rate trophy. Mata pulled him up and said Jose had no right ridiculing the trophy. Mata was told to work harder for the team but Mata said his best work comes from attacking play and deeper midfielders should be working harder. Jose wants Mata gone, Roman wants Mata to stay, Mata wants to stay but only if he's playing.
