Chelsea have just sold 2 players that don't directly figure in Jose's plans for almost £60m, bought a quality defensive midfielder in Matic which was badly needed and a young highly rated winger in Salah and still has £30 odd million to put towards a striker.

Sad to see Mata go but absolute superb business by Jose and Chelsea.

Yes letting a player go in part of a swap deal then spending £20 million buying him back is great business.

I think the whole moaning about Chelsea selling Mata to the rags was an attempt to make Jose look like dirty little prick in the eyes of the public and media, not that I think it would work the media seem to be totally in love with Jose.
