An altogether weird situation at Chelsea. Mourinho looks like he's wanted the sack from the start. I believe there has been some fallout over transfers this summer. Last season you could tell he was bitter about their financial restrictions to be FFP compliant. Selling Cech was something he clearly wasn't happy about, that happened without his approval without doubt. They went for Pedro and moved quickly on that though but it's just not happened for them. Our thrashing of them was very hard to take for Mourinho. It's the sort of result he's not used to. Then losing at home crushed them further and he's blamed anyone and everyone for it.
I still think they'll do well if they keep him. They're not that far off the pace despite the results. 11pts is obviously a big gap but it's not one they can't make up. As good as we can be, we do drop points and have yet to find that hard to beat edge because of our attacking playing style - perhaps Pellegrini recognises with Chelsea so far behind this is how we need to play in the tough away games this season... we shall see.
Having signed a new contract, and with FFP Abramovich can't really sack him... despite it appearing as though Mourinho wants out. The whole club is under such a huge amount of scrutiny at the moment and sacking Mourinho would lift that cloud quite quickly. A big game for them this weekend and the result could see the end of him. He won't walk away though.

If they have any sense OR a massive skellybones in the closet they can pull out to blacken Eva they surely must settle out of court with her or the press will have a field day

Rumours that Rodgers could replace Mourinho as interim manager, hahaha, Abramovic surely isn't that stupid.
