Reminded me of Clichy in the Wigan cup final where he was up against McManaman and everybody then decided that he was shit because of that one game. Or Maicon against Bale where he went from one of the best right backs in the world to an overrated fraud based on one game.

Well Maicon's career ended in 2010 basically... anyway, he's never been good at defending, just like Marcelo, Dani Alves and a few others.
