Chelsea Thread (2015-16)

I am none too familiar with how footy managers' contracts are usually structured, let alone how Mourinho's specifically. But to imagine Roman has to immediately write a cheque for £52m is bonkers. First, I would imagine there are various performance-related clauses and then there's the whole doctor-gate thing and gross misconduct and god know what else. Even if the contract is seemingly watertight, lawyers would argue over it when £52m might be at stake.

I think Klopp is going to make a step-change difference at Victim FC, which will only heap even more pressure on Mourinho. Personally, I do think he will be gone by Xmas.

You never have to pay up the entire contract, the contract will have amounts you have to pay depending on how long is left written into it. Owners aren't stupid, they know most managers don't see out their contracts, they'd have to be retarded to not plan for that in the contract. I wouldn't be surprised if he can be sacked for next to nothing if he fails to meet certain performance related criterea though, like missing out on the CL.

I can't see him being sacked any time soon. There's no obvious replacement available, and he still has the fans on his side.

I still think they'll turn it round and finish in the top four.

Klopp to do a Kendall?

I'll reiterate what ive already posted, we're a shambles on & off the pitch, how a team with that much talent going for it can perform so badly is astonishing.

The Southampton game was one of the most pathetic performances ive witnessed for years, we couldnt pass the ball, couldnt defend, hardly troubled their keeper, take nothing away from Southampton though they played well & deserved to win.

Jose's moan(AGAIN) about our penalty shout pissed me off, just for once id like him to come out & say "the better team won fair & square, they should've had two pens & maybe us have one penalty but thats the way it goes" or something along those lines.

There's all sorts of rumours flying around involving Evagate & various players, if true that'd certainly explain our poor form.

We need a vast improvement right across the whole squad because i can only see it getting worse before it gets better.

Mourinho getting the piss ripped for his 'disguise' at the Spain game (he actually looks more like a hobbit):

The current situation at Chelsea serves as a lesson as to how delicate, organic and changeable team morale can be. It's so much easier to destroy than it is to build and it can disappear like a fucking shot.

True something has gone badly wrong there, the Eva situation maybe or a number of things but it looks like moan a lot has lost the dressing room.

I strongly suspect that the Eva situation is the cause; it's most certainly the catalyst. It shows you how quickly the collective dynamic can change when you have a squad of 25 young, rich egomaniacs. Who'd have thought it!

Managing a group of modern footballers cannot be very easy.

Yes the ones at the top of their game are often millionaires at a very young age, they either keep the hunger or like Adebayor just go through the motions and take the money.Unless he regains control quickly he will be gone by Christmas.

Mourinho only went back there because he wasn't offered the united job. He looks so depressed and lacking his usual energy. It's almost as though he is looking to get the sack so he can get a massive payoff and go to PSG.

Mourinho > PSG
Simeone > Chelsea
Ancelotti > Bayern
Guardiola > City

And referees sanguine approval, it seems. Changes results. GPC knew that. He'll have to contact strawberry nose and hope the bent fucker isn't too soused or reluctant to advise the special one how to bully the officials to orchestrate the game in your favour. Nevertheless, the pissed one would just tell him he'd have to manage at the swamp for favours on that game changing scale.

I have always found Chelsea fans quite a decent bunch but a load that post on the Telegraph are weird imitations of rags banging on about council houses, empty seats and all the rag rubbish which they must get from a rag website. They are particularly and obnoxiously anti City and strangely rarely say anything untoward about United. Like rags, they all claim to go but know precious little about the area around their ground and are often posting 5 mins after the final whistle

Is it a general thing or just a few on the Telegraph? (I am aware there might be some duplicated posters)

I am a bit worried as I am beginning to hate Chelsea more than I hate the rags;-)

I've long had a whinge at those who lauded Mourinho's "clever mind games". They were never clever at all. He's clearly losing a few at the moment and refs appear to take virtually fcuk all notice of his weekly histrionics.

Fcukin karma! That said, I think he'll ride the storm and finish top four.
