Unfortunately for you, that’s only going to happen if the transfer ban is overturned.

If the ban remains in place, we're screwed anyway.

I'd do everything I can to keep Hazard in that case, even if it means losing him for free next summer. We have great youth on loan that we can integrate. Reece James is already a better RB than Azpi, Mount is a Foden type player, super talent. We've already signed Pulisic, and we still have Batshuayi, Bakayoko and Morata on loan that can been recalled plus it's another season under Loftus-Cheek's belt and he is a baller, he seems to have finally cemented his place ahead of Barkley and Kovacic.

I'd keep Hazard, bring all of loanees back and hope to god that we sneak into the top 4 again next season, at which point at go ham in the transfer market.

And CH-O, if he stays and when he recovers from his injury.

Transfer ban appeal lost according to bbc, that's them fucked for next season in terms of an outside title bid if Hazzard is offski as it seems

The cynic in me wondered why it was finally announced today, then I remembered they have a European semi 2nd leg that's 1-1 tomorrow so couldn't guarantee them getting to the final for maximum disruption so this was next best option.

This was always going to happen. FIFA were never going to overturn their own decision, but if you remember back when the ban was first handed down, I mentioned in here that Chelsea wanted to take the case to CAS but for that to happen we would have to go through the appeals process with FIFA first and once that's been rejected, can Chelsea take the case to CAS.

The expectation here is that while the appeal with CAS is ongoing (a process that usually takes up to 6 months) we will be able to sign players in the meantime.

So how does this affect the lad that they agreed a deal with earlier this year ( Pulsic ??? ).

Can this deal still go through as he won't be registered will he?

What do you mean? He was signed, registered and loaned back to Dortmund until the summer. Pulisic is a Chelsea player.

The main problem area looks to be a scoring centre forward - Batshuayi must surely be given his chance next season.

If you get through the season pretty well, Chelsea may be nicely set up for the next five years, assuming it's remembered that the midfield isn't just 4 players.

Bit unfair Barcelona had their ban pushed back to allow them to buy loads in the window before the ban but Chelsea's is immediate
