Sarri should have just told the ref to put his number up and he has to go out then.
Technically the referee can't force him to be substituted, but that's a cop out really. He could have booked him for time wasting and made it clear another yellow was going to follow.
 
I'm glad he stayed on. When Caballero was warming up, it had written in the stars all over it.
Yep, I'd nearly written off the shootout with Willy playing, when Kepa stayed on I knew Sod's law would see us winning it with him to blame for at least one penalty (Aguero).

Yes, the laws say so specifically.

Not obeying the manager is a whole different thing. I can't imagine anyone trying it in such a way with Guardiola. The eruption would make Sarri look like nothing.
 
Does anyone else think it was an accident?

It looked to me like Kepa thought he was being replaced due to injury and he was making them aware he was fine.

What was happening though was Sarri was replacing him due to Willy being a penalty specialist.

Maybe a misunderstanding?
