You're kidding yourself mate. What will happen is buyers will wait a few months let you go into administration and then buy you for nothing. Sorry about your club as I quite like you guys but you can't stand by your owner whilst the invasion is happening.
You actually think Chelsea will go into administration? I mean I know there’s a lot of media coverage and click bait surrounding Chelsea at the moment but administration…

Whose paying the players wages? That is 30m a month maybe they’ll get a loan out?

yes I do, they have very little cash reserves, no income, no prize money looks like sponsorships money is leaving. How do you expect the wages to get paid?

You know this how exactly? Prize money… if I’m not mistaken didn’t we loose to Chelsea last season in the champions league, they also won the FA cup. I don’t know the intricate details of the ins and outs of their cash flow so I can’t answer that question and nor can 99% of the people on here.
All I know is that it’s narrative click bait driven from a media outlet that we’ve all despised for a generation.
I feel it’s just a smoke screen for something else.
Their sponsors haven’t actually ripped up contracts have they…
Sometimes a bit of perspective needs to come into these things rather than everyone jumping on a media bandwagon.
If I’m wrong I’m wrong so what and Chelsea really will go down but I’m pretty sure that as soon as a suitable buyer comes in and proceeds go to the right place things will move slowly into motion again for them.

Wrong!!!
Leicester City won the FA Cup last season (beating Chelsea in the final)!!!

If their accounts have been frozen then it doesn't matter if they are still getting income, the money wouldn't go into the account it would just sit there pending. They wouldn't be able to pay anyone with it either, as the account is frozen. (they were given permission to pay wages though, so not really sure why Barclays have frozen their accounts unless they've reason to suspect something else is going on)

I suspect in the coming days we'll hear that they have to put in a request for any payment to go out. So they wont have issues paying they'll just have to go cap in hand to Barclays with a "We need £xyz million for wages this month", essentially having someone checking every cash take out is legit

The articles says credit cards, which is understandable them getting credit, nothing to says they can't spend cash.

Sponsors may have already paid in full for the season and they won't lose and gate money for a while with most tickets for upcoming games sold.

This will really only bite them when it comes to next year's sponsorship and gate money, but it may not last that long.

They have to keep evidence for the treasury of all expenditure over £5k, but there is nothing stoping them spending it in their license.

How much cash do people think they have? Because it won't be very much, no club would have very much as you simply don't need it. Take away all income but keep the expense and I'd be amazed if they could even cover a months expenses
