The tension between genuine reformers and the conservative religious faction is long established. The AbuDhabi gov’s campaign in favour of Sufism would be undermined if it appeared to be replacing Sharia. The Houthi are just round the corner and have made many incursions into AbuDhabi during the current rebellion.
They very rarely use the death penalty, I think there has been one execution in the last five years for the rape and torture of a child.
Overall, a complex situation.

Usually a team in contention and one of the best places in Europe to live and work, especially when you make enough money to own a nice property in town!

That said, having a reflexive owner has always been an issue, Boehly is flailing right now.

There’s going to have to be a fire sale there this summer and it’ll be interesting what squad is left once the next guy had his say on who he wants and, more importantly, doesn’t want.

Think the club has spent a fortune but can’t score and has an old defense that looks poor. Some of the spending on talent has been cheque book management at best, with little to no strategy involved.

I would imagine those without the borders have the same risk tbh, which is why I am suspicious of prominent Russians speaking out against Putin wherever they are. But hey ho, I don't really care other than my great grandparents (some of them) were Russian.

When Roman was in charge, he had money and far more knowledge of football than Boelhy. The owner might be able to waltz into a NFL changing room, where players can be traded at a whim and only with the contract being transferred over. Treat footballers that way(Sterling has way more money than his NFL counterpart) and Boelhy will find recruitment difficult and it won't be as easy to get rid of players as he thinks.

For the record, Roman was treated appallingly, by a bunch of self serving hypocrites. Yes he is dodgy, no more so than any of the other merchant bankers. Boelhy and his entourage are wankers.

The last name is not Enrique but we don’t know who it is
