No idea just read Swiss ramble thread on chelsea finance here it is if you want a read

Hmmm....had a look and, unless I am missing something, he is forecasting their revenues for 22/23 to be 491, their wages to be 346 and player amortisation to be 222. That makes wages and amortisation to be well over the 90% limit. Problems ahead?

They may sell a few and 90% is fine for season 1 of the 3 years monitoring period of the new ffp rules…

By well over 90%, I meant he is forecasting they would have to decrease w&a by something like 120m for 23/24 to get to 90%. If amortisation is half player cost, that is 60m wages, 1.2m per week, or 4 or 5 first team players I guess.

Of course, I could be talking bollocks. I suppose we will see.

They usual spot on?!

Anyway be interesting to see there next accounts…

After watching the Chelsea vs Spurs game, one thing stood out, it was not the quality of the both teams, but the fight in wanting the 3 points, you are going to have to work so hard to beat both of them teams this season, they both were full on even the managers wanted a fight,

I still think the 2 best teams are Manchester city and Liverpool, the quality speaks for itself and also good in a fight
if any utd fans watched the other games this weekend they will be in fear of making 4th bottom, never mind mid-table,

city liverpool chelsea spurs arsenal newcastle top 6 then Brighton Leeds Villa Leicester west ham will be a head of utd
Good to see you’ve put us top 11. Most have us getting relegated

What's Sterling raging about?

Chelsea forward left fuming and raging by Manchester City exit

Have to say how upset he sounds here he kept it hidden well and still modal professional..

Be interesting what Tuchel will do if under pressure and Sterling ain’t doing it..

Can't see Chelsea being a real threat

They were well up for Spurs but spurs is arguably their biggest london Derby

Just don't real see the goals, and a 33 year old Aubameyang isn't going to be the answer to compete with us or the Dippers

In an individual game they'll be tough to beat....but over a full season they'll fall off

Probably get 3rd,but they have real problems up top and in midfield that needs refreshing

Chelsea forward left fuming and raging by Manchester City exit but it was the right time to move on.
Unhappy but happy!
Oxymoron if ever I saw one.
Sounds like one of the things he's 'fuming' about was he didn't see why he had to justify being picked, it should have been a given, but also seems to have no awareness of how bad his form dipped, resulting in him being dropped.

Also, not being able to attend his child's birthday - but Raheem, how much better is your daughter's life due to the vast amounts of money City were being paying you, regardless of your drop off in form?
