They don’t do emailsSo PIF are major investors in Clearlake, who are majority shareholders in Chelsea. Todd Boehly visits Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, owned by PIF, and then miraculously about 5 or 6 Chelsea players look set to move to Saudi Arabia. Chelsea are far shadier than we’ll ever be tbh. The only difference is they presumably have better cyber security than us and didn’t get hacked.
Super shady alright. So PIF are major investors in Clearlake, who are majority shareholders in Chelsea. Perhaps that was the plan all along. So PIF are major investors in Clearlake, who are majority shareholders in Chelsea. The league are rightfully protecting themselves should Apple, Disney, etc., become interested in future rights.I am reading today that Chelsea reached agreement with US streaming service Paramount+ for our shirt deal, only for the Prem to block it due to concerns of upsetting Sky and BT. Paramount+ don't have any UK football streaming interests.
We are however free to pursue a deal with online casino Stake, whose main revenue stream is online slots, which apparently is one of the most addictive gambling types with a circa 45% addiction rate, while also enticing some of poorest demographics.
What is the world coming to?
Advertising gambling to kids is ridiculous and shouldn't be allowed.I am reading today that Chelsea reached agreement with US streaming service Paramount+ for our shirt deal, only for the Prem to block it due to concerns of upsetting Sky and BT. That doesn't make sense to me. Surely the league can only benefit from potential increased competition in future rights? I don't see why they need to protect Sky and BT from an as yet unrealised competitor. Unless of course they are taking significant backhanders from said media giants. The league are rightfully protecting themselves should Apple, Disney, etc., become interested in future rights.
I would go further and say that advertising gambling to anyone is harmful. It ruins lives.Advertising gambling to kids is ridiculous and shouldn't be allowed.
