I see they are getting offended by the rent-boy chant. Going full dipper under US ownership?

Maybe we should weaponise Liverpool's Shipman chant. How much traction do you think that will get in the press?

I mean loads of LGBTQ groups up and down have criticised it as blatantly homophobic, including the LGBTQ groups associated with the clubs those fans who sing it support. It’s not just Chelsea fans who say it’s offensive. Every anti-discriminatory group going have labelled it offensive and spelt out why it’s offensive.

Looks like another 145m going to be spent in the coming days. An absolute scattergun approach by Boelhy in his two windows so far, just spend spend spend, with no need to sell apparently

Di Marzio now reporting that they're close to signing Enzo Fernandez for €126m. That takes their spending this season to £400m.

Funny how ffp doesn’t matter when you’re one of the favourites of the media and football establishment. Or perhaps it’s just ok if your owners are American rather than Arab?

Will be interesting to see the reaction if Newcastle spend £400m in summer.

Chelsea have spent a ridiculous amount of money lately but they have it so why not. Their transfer ban was 3 years ago this summer, that gave them a substantial amount of leeway where ffp is concerned for the windows after it. They've got it to spend just as we have, just as united have and just as liverpool have even if they pretend they haven't.

They've spent it incredibly poorly though and will be in a real mess if they have another summer like the last 2. Paying that money for Fernández this early into his career is mental, he looks a great player that we should have got with alvarez in hindsight but the price now is insane, would us, or anybody else pay that kind of price for Alvarez off the back of the world cup if we hadn't already snapped him up last year?

I hope Chelsea get their act together (after this week) to me, they've always been the most tolerable club of the traditional top 6, I'd much sooner have them as our closest rivals than any of the other lot and whilst it now seems unlikely them pipping Liverpool and United to 4th would be superb.

I think their leeway is much boosted by debts being written off by Abramovich and iirc a rule that allows new owners to spend without restraint for a period.

See someone on the match thread saying about potter has the 2 games against us to improve things or he’s done,I’m sure Vialli98 could give us a bit more information or is it just media bollocks..

The upside to that we had Alan Ball with his flat cap and World Cup winners medal and it didn’t make kit Symons and Lee Bradbury run around any quicker. Mourinho never kicked a football in his life and he managed to get a decent tune out of his teams.
If you hadn't mentioned Mourinho I would have given you 2 likes ;-)

you cant even chant Chelsea rent boys anymore, just seen on the news that the CPS are investigating alleged homophobic chants made by nottingham forest fans against them

They're currently 10th in the league and their form is played 6, won 1, drawn 2 and lost 3. They'll not make the top 4 this year without going on an insane run which they've shown no indication of being able to put together.

And Mudryk for €100m, that’s nearly £500m. I’ll repeat again how the fuck were the Chavs allowed to write off a 1.6b debt from Abramovich when we had to fight UEFA over revenues, why didn’t our Owner just give us a soft loan same as Abramovich and then write it off? Chelsea have been propped up financially for around 20 years and faced no sanctions whatsoever. I keep hearing about share structures but the sponsorship we had to defend was no near the debt Chelsea had. The Rags pay interest charges which are accounted for in FFP, Chav’s paid fuck all, just don’t get it.
