Why ? I don’t give it any thought at all.
He seems like a fairly decent guy, and I thought he was great for us in terms of G/A and overall play during his time at City. A bit frustrating at times but most players are. Very much a confidence player and needs a good run in the team to hit form. Any potential for instability might knock his confidence for six, which won't be good for the national team.

I don’t think about the National team either much tbh.

Andre Villas-Boas is out of work??

Joking aside, I hope Potter doesn't go to Chelsea. He seems a decent bloke and a very good coach. It'd likely go to shit at Stamford Bridge for him and then he'd likely just drop his philosophy and just chase the money in the manager merry-go-round.

Once Conte has thrown his toys out of the pram at Tottenham, he'd be a decent enough fit for them in my opinion. He'd be a perfect replacement to clean up the mess that Conte might leave behind once players get pissed off with his typical Italian tantrums and sulking.

Plus, do Tottenham really have the drive and ambition to win something? A competitive team is probably all that's expected and Potter could deliver that.
