I am 100% sure he didn't want to move after watching a few interviews with him. It was more he had lost guaranteed place in the first eleven and somehow lost appetite for fighting to get it back. Whether he panicked or his PR advised him, he made the move.
I still consider him a City legend, he never moaned, never been a drama queen, smashed 100+ goals, the last thing he needs is mocking.

Poor advice, worse decision but he made his bed so to speak. Hopefully City have upgraded which is what we have to do because there ain’t no room for sentiment in football
