There's absolutely zero chance I'm getting ahead of myself :)

But back to back wins with back to back clean sheets is great for the confidence of the team. If we can beat Burnley at the weekend, we're going into the international break full of confidence and we can attack the tough run of fixtures coming up with the belief that we can win them all. We obviously won't but hopefully the belief is back.

Think teams like Fulham who want to play it out attack Chelsea pressing will get them the result but if teams park the bus have cheslea got that playmaker to open up a defence! We have it every week the wolves one where we were missing key players we found it so hard and made next to fcuk all chances!

The thing is we’ve created good chances against parked busses too. We just haven’t taken our chances and that has been the bane of our existence this season. But last night he played Enzo deeper and Gallagher further forward, which is what I’ve been asking him. Enzo is creative from deep, he controls the games. Palmer is can be crwative wherever you put him, last night he was RW, he’s been excellent centrally too. Carney is close to returning to the team, so he’s a creative 10 too, James is close to return too, and of course we have Nkunku to return in December. There’s enough creative players in the squad I feel. It’s just a question of gelling and finishing the chances we create. Hopefully with a bit of confidence we can now see more goals.

Chelsea fans are loving Palmer. I know we let players leave when they feel it's right but I think compare what they spent on the likes of Mudryk and we let them have Cole too cheap imo.

We absolutely love him. From the little cameo off the bench against Forest for his debut, he's impressed in literally every game. I love it when players come ready to contribute immediately. Speaks volumes about his mentality as well as how well he's been coached so far in his career. I truly hope you live to regret letting him leave.

He wanted to play every match. Pep said no. So he joined a club he could get his wish.

He made his bed and some blues who are regretting him leaving should accept that.

He should have knuckled down like Phil did when he started coming through.

He's had a very good start to his career there in very difficult circumstances.

Mudryk is the one to me that could be sensational, if he gets his confidence up and has a run of games, I can seem him becoming very special.
Read that Poch has been working specifically with him on his confidence. Look like it might be working and that goal gets the monkey off his back. I agree with you, has potential to be dynamite.

I obviously don’t know the details of what happened between Palmer and City. I was just saying, if you do end do end up regretting letting him leave, it will mean he’ll have built on this promising start and developed into one of the top player in this league over the next couple of years

And if he does develop into a successful England regular I won't begrudge him that.

I don't blame him for choosing a club and also having the stability of a very long term contract to help him plan for his future both on and off the field.

That’s totally fair enough. I respect that take. All things considered, this might be a move that suits all parties. City get £40m for a rotational player, we get an up and coming talent that could potentially be great and Palmer gets the security of a long contract as well as a more important status within a team.
